Grow as a community leader. Consider being a part of one (or more!)
of the following Chamber committees:
Encourages young professionals under 40 to meet in an informal setting for professional development, to plan community service projects and network in a business-friendly setting. Meets twice a month.
The Women’s Interactive Networking Group committee meets every other month to plan luncheon meetings for women business leaders.
Annual Dinner Dance
A theme-oriented January dinner dance offers members and their guests the opportunity to enjoy an evening of dining and dancing in a festive setting. The committee organizes and develops this gala, which draws over 250 people. Meets monthly, April through January.
A 10-day festival of family fun that includes a parade, Arts & Crafts In The Park, Sidewalk Sales, Plywood Boat Challenge, Food Fest, Teen Night, Music Fest Weekend, Ice Cream Social, Car Show and lots of entertainment. The committee meets year round. Subcommittees are formed in October.
Area business owners and their guests spend a fun-filled spring day golfing and dining at one of McHenry’s premier golf courses. Prizes, raffles, contests and networking are just a part of this May event. The committee meets monthly, beginning in September.
Country Meadows Wine & Crafts
A one-day September craft show open to the public with over 100 exhibitors displaying handmade crafts, a farmers market and antiques. The committee meets monthly, beginning in January.
The Scramble is a structured progressive networking luncheon where attendees promote their company’s unique benefits to other businesses. 99% of prior attendees claim meeting business contacts.
Chapters – Stories of the Wise, Witty & Wonderful
10 individuals, 60 years and older, who have contributed much to their communities either through their work accomplishments, volunteerism, mentoring of others or as a builder of families are honored at a special luncheon.
Men of Monday Night
Men of Monday Night is a raffle with all the bells and whistles of Monday Night Football. Kickoff is August 13 with activities guaranteed to create excitement and fun during the fall football season. High-gloss booklets are sold with five winners each Monday night of the 17 weeks of football, plus five big winners during the Super Bowl.
Be a part of the planning for topics that are of interest to members that will benefit their organization. Luncheons are held quarterly.
Each Fall the chamber produces a luncheon honoring those who have served our country.
Ten recipients are chosen.
Welcomes families to this expo within an expo. Guests will be guided by street signs such as Senior Street, Children’s Court, Leisure Lane, Home Highway, Health & Fitness Fairway, Financial Frontage, Woman’s Walkway, Automotive Avenue, Pet Parkway and Business to Business Boulevard.
Late summer the chamber features a Road Rally connecting members with member establishments finishing at the outdoor theatre for a movie specially prepared for those who love to drive.
