The McHenry Delivers campaign is designed to encourage the community to support our local restaurants, bars, and retailers.
How does it work?
Just write your name and phone number (must be legible) on the back of a receipt from one of our local retailers, restaurants, or bars and submit it for the chance to win a gift card to your favorite place!
What makes a receipt eligible?
The receipt must be dated after November 15, 2020 and must be from a local restaurant, retail store, or bar. Dine in, carryout, or delivery receipts are all eligible.
Is there a minimum amount I need to spend?
There is no minimum, but please keep in mind the ultimate goal is to support our local businesses.
How do I submit my receipt?
You can mail them or drop them off at the McHenry Area Chamber. The address is 1257 N. Green Street, McHenry, IL 60050. We have a mail slot in the door if you want to drop them off when we are not there. Please write your full name and your phone number legibly on the back of the original receipt so we can contact you.
Does the receipt need to be the original?
Yes, we need to have the original receipt. If you are thinking about doing a return, please do not submit your receipt. If you ordered from a food delivery app, you may print the receipt that is sent to your email and submit that.
What do I win?
You have the chance to win a $25 gift card to the local Chamber member restaurant, bar, or retailer of your choice.
How will you notify the winners?
We will post the winner(s) for the week on the McHenry Area Chamber Facebook page. We will also call the winner directly to coordinate delivery of your gift card.
Do you want to sponsor a gift card?
How much does it cost?
To sponsor one gift card for one week is only $25. If you would like to sponsor a gift card for multiple weeks, it’s just $25/week.
What do I get?
First, you get the AWESOME feeling of helping a local business. Your donation goes directly to a local Chamber restaurant, bar, or retailer that really needs your help right now.
Second, we’ll mention your name and tag you or your business on Facebook when we announce the winner for the week, allowing your friends, family, clients, and potential customers to see how much you care about the community!
