For over 20 years, The McHenry Area Chamber has offered members the opportunity to reach out to an untapped market—new residents. New residents are eager to learn about their new community and local products and services available.
Through the “Welcome Home” box, businesses can capitalize on the credibility of the Chamber to influence recent arrivals to “Shop Chamber Members First.”
Here is how the program works:
Each month, a curated package loaded with promotional items and coupons is delivered to new residents.
Sponsor businesses can provide promotional items or samples for $50 a month ($600 annually) or they can include a coupon for only $250 for the year. Promotional items are exclusive by item and industry with 12 month commitment and and these businesses receive a complete list (with names and addresses) of the new residents who received the packages that month. Coupon participants are not exclusive by industry.
