Women-owned businesses in McHenry County
WINGS (Women’s Interactive Networking Group) brings women in business together to connect, learn, and grow, together. Designed for business owners, leaders, and professionals at every stage, each gathering focuses on real conversations around the challenges and opportunities women face. Here, you’ll gain insight, share knowledge, and build relationships that last beyond the room.
Hosted by the McHenry Area Chamber, WINGS provides a welcoming, supportive environment where women can show up as they are, ask meaningful questions, and learn from shared experiences. Each session is intentionally designed to encourage interaction, discussion, and practical takeaways participants can apply to their professional and personal lives.
WINGS gatherings feature timely topics reflecting the realities of women in today’s business landscape, including leadership development, career growth, entrepreneurship, communication, and navigating change. Through guided discussions, guest speakers, and peer-to-peer connection, attendees leave feeling informed, inspired, and supported.
Beyond education, WINGS is about community. It is a place to build confidence, expand networks, and form authentic connections with women who understand the unique challenges and successes of business life. Many participants discover mentors, collaborators, and lasting friendships through the group.
WINGS meets every other month in person, offering a relaxed yet purposeful setting to step away from daily responsibilities and invest in yourself. Open to Chamber members and non-members, WINGS encourages attendees to invite colleagues, peers, and friends to experience the power of connection and shared growth.
Whether you are starting a career, growing a business, or leading a team, WINGS offers space to learn, contribute, and belong. Join us and be part of a community where women support women and grow stronger together. Participants leave each event energized, empowered, and better equipped to navigate their goals with clarity, confidence, and renewed motivation, carrying lessons and connections forward into their work, leadership, and community involvement and future endeavors.
